Grand Ridge Plaza - Social and Digital Community Connection
THE CHALLENGE:
Grand Ridge Plaza, an upscale retail and dining center in Issaquah, WA came to Polite Society to create complimentary foodie programming to celebrate Issaquah’s Taste of Washington promotion with the goal of driving traffic to their restaurants struggling during the pandemic.
OUR APPROACH:
We created a mix of content and live digital experience that highlighted the restaurants unique cuisines and recipes in a fun, engaging and approachable style.
As a portion of social media marketing for promoting the Grand Ridge Plaza contest giveaway, we filmed chef demos at five restaurants to show off some of the delicious meals (ingredients included!) that the lucky winners would receive. Each chef was asked to create a special 3 course meal for 4, with the households following along online during a live cooking experience.
Cooking with the Chef’s brought together 15 households that entered to win the chance to participate in one of the five interactive at-home cooking experiences hosted by chefs from various restaurants located in GRP.
THE OUTCOME:
The 15 households had a fun time cooking together with the chefs, the client had valuable evergreen video content for social channels and the restaurants saw an immediate uptick in takeout and delivery orders, up significantly since the stay-at-home order. A delicious win!
